The Pavilions Phuket

We stayed for 2 nights at Spa & Pool Penthouse. The building is so big (more than enough for 2 persons) and have a spa room. So you don’t have to walk your way to the central area in order to get spa or massage services. Room is great and staffs are very kind and friendly. Foods are also great! I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to take some private castaways and relax. You could spend a whole week easily here.

Satisfied with the stay. This hotel is not designed to be baby friendly to be honest, it is and more towards honeymoon guests. but all the employees tried their best to accommodate our asks regarding the baby caring. It was just mind blowing that we can call any service via the messenger in the hotel app and we get the reply within 1-2 minutes. Everyone was so friendly all the time. Breakfast was awesome and the air quality is also superb. Location is slightly away from the laguna centre but can call grab or bolt anytime.

Very badly maintained hotel. Generally speaking, the stay was not great: 1. Reception staff is mostly not friendly and quite stupid, not trying to make the stay easy and careless. Reception Staff doesn’t know what is “good service” at all. 2. There is very poor wi-fi connection that fails all the time 3. the drinking water supply is 500ml bottle of water per villa per day 4. glass shower and toilet doors were not clean and stained 5. bedsheets were old and destroyed 6. we found cockroach in the room 7. In a high category villa “ocean view” there were NO SOCKETS BY BED!!! 8. All sockets and switches are yellow plastic, fall out of the wall and hardly hold any appliances in. 9. Upon arrival check-in took ages. 10. Upon departure no member of staff asked about transfer to the airport or how the stay was overall. 11. Room cleaning comes at 5 pm ( when you come back from the beach/lunch and want to rest). Therefore in case you want to stay in villa full day, you stay in a room that is not tidy + there is no night preparation of the room, no towel change twice per day, no water supply twice per day. 12. Traffic on the premises of the hotel is like Bangkok roads… cars, scooters, vans ect all day long. Good points: 1. Good breakfast and friendly staff at the restaurant 2. Good coffee 3. Friendly security at the front gate

Felt more like a serviced apartment than a 5-star resort. Stayed in a Mountain View suite - I do see the Villa’s get better reviews. Was informed all pools were closed after we checked in - really disappointed that this was not relayed up front - given the distance from the beach. Room was a 10-15min walk to lobby and parking (needed to call golf cart to get almost anywhere). Soaps/ shampoos etc all empty in room and felt like no-one had stayed there for a while - again, much more like a serviced apartment than a 5-star resort. WiFi was really choppy. Staff were great and very friendly and breakfast was good. Overall though for this amount of money far better options available.
